Genomind® Pharmacogenetic (PGx) Testing

Insights that may help narrow medication choices and dosing.

PGx looks at how your genes may influence how certain medications are metabolized or interact. It doesn’t replace clinical judgment, but it can inform choices, especially when past trials were difficult or side-effects unpredictable.

Good Candidates (examples):

  • Multiple prior medication trials with limited benefit or side-effects

  • Complex med lists or sensitivity concerns

  • Family history of unusual med reactions

How It Works (3 steps):

  1. Consult: Decide if PGx is appropriate now.

  2. Consent & Sample: Simple, non-invasive kit.

  3. Results Review: We translate findings, align with your goals, and decide next steps.

Payment & Access:

  • Accepted for Medicaid or cash/credit; verify at consult.

  • Telemedicine via Rula or In-Person visit available for the consult/review.

Specialty Labs (Biotech)

Focused panels to clarify specific questions.

When symptoms or history point to targeted lab questions, we may suggest select specialty panels (e.g., inflammation markers, nutrient status, or immune/metabolic patterns) to complement standard care.

Examples:

  • Micronutrient or oxidative stress markers

  • Inflammation or immune modulation indicators

  • Select food-sensitivity panels (case-by-case)

Payment:

  • Typically cash/credit only. We’ll outline costs before ordering and only proceed if you feel it’s worth it.

Functional Testing

Deeper assessments for the right cases.

For some clients, it helps to look “under the hood” at digestion, metabolism, and endocrine balance. Functional tests never replace a medical evaluation, but they can help us fine-tune lifestyle, nutrition, supplements, or medication choices.

How We Use Results:
